Phi Alpha International Honor Society
The Phi Alpha International Honor Society promotes humanitarian goals and ideals while building closer bonds among students. The Social Work program at the University of Saint Francis sponsors the Sigma Eta chapter of Phi Alpha.
The highest honor you can achieve as a Social Work student is becoming a Phi Alpha International Honor Society member. To reach this status, you must have:
- A grade point average (GPA) of 3.25 in all Social Work courses and an overall GPA of 3.0.
- Been fully admitted to the Social Work program.
- Demonstrated a commitment to the purpose, mission, values and goals of the social work profession through a dedication to serve humanity.
Once you have been inducted into the Phi Alpha International Honor Society, you may apply for Phi Alpha scholarships.
